I am a journalist and academic who has researched and written about sustainability, design, and innovation for national, regional, and trade publications.  I have written about how brands can have more sustainable supply chains and explored the challenges of re-shoring manufacturing to the U.S.  I work on the Textile Taskforce for Circular Philadelphia to create solutions for waste diversion and recycling in the Philadelphia region and am a member of the Environmental Sustainability Council at The College of New Jersey, a member of the New Jersey Higher Education Professionals in Sustainability, a board member of the New Jersey Press Association and the New Jersey Press Foundation.  I am a full-time professor of Journalism and Professional Writing and the chair of my department.
